At Sitara Organic & Ayurveda, we understand that many customers prefer the convenience of paying at the time of delivery. We offer 100% FREE Shipping on all products, and Cash on Delivery (COD) is available across eligible PIN codes in India.
COD Partial Advance Payment: For all Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, a partial advance payment of ₹100 is collected during checkout to confirm your order and prevent delivery refusal. The remaining balance is paid to the courier upon delivery.
This policy explains how our COD service works and the guidelines for choosing this payment option.
1. 100% Prepaid Policy & Zero RTO Assurance
Cash on Delivery is available at selected serviceable PIN codes across India based on courier partner coverage.
2. Order Verification
To ensure secure deliveries and reduce fraudulent orders, Sitara may verify COD orders before dispatch via Phone Call, SMS, or WhatsApp Message. Unverified orders may be cancelled.
3. COD Order Value Limits
Cash on Delivery is available for orders up to a maximum threshold. Orders exceeding COD limits require prepaid payment via UPI, Credit/Debit Card, or Net Banking.
4. Payment at Delivery
Customers choosing Cash on Delivery are requested to keep exact payment ready and pay only the authorized delivery executive as displayed on the order invoice.
5. Delivery Attempts
Courier partners will make up to 3 attempts. If delivery fails due to customer unavailability, the order will return to our warehouse.
6. Refusal of COD Orders
Repeated refusal of genuine COD orders without valid reasons increases logistics costs. Sitara reserves the right to disable COD for accounts with frequent delivery refusals.
7. Cancellation Rules
COD orders can be cancelled prior to dispatch by contacting support desk.
8. Address Verification
Ensure correct Full Name, Landmark, PIN Code, and Mobile Number to prevent cancellation.
9. Failed Deliveries
Failed deliveries due to wrong addresses will restrict future COD eligibility.
10. Inspection Guidelines
Inspect outer box for visible damage before accepting delivery. Report tampered parcels immediately.
11. Product Availability
COD order placement is subject to inventory availability at dispatch.
12. Changes to Policy
Sitara reserves the right to modify or withdraw Cash on Delivery services at any time.
